There won’t be any shortage of dialogue in Fallout 4, with Bethesda revealing that it includes more than its two previous console games, Skyrim and Fallout 3, combined.
In total, there are more than 111,000 lines in Fallout 4. After “many years,” the monumental task of recording all of these is now complete, Bethesda announced on Twitter today.
It’s perhaps not a surprise that the amount of dialogue is so much greater than past games; with Xbox One and PS4 games both coming on Blu-ray discs, space restrictions are not what they were when Bethesda shipped Fallout 3 in 2008 and Skyrim in 2011.
We don’t yet know how big Fallout 4 is; the Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation pre order page listings for the game don’t offer any details on how much space it will require.
Fallout 4 is due out on all three platforms on November 10, and Bethesda thinks it could be its most successful game ever.
