Our prayers have been answered. In nearly every Civilisation game (since 1991 when Sid Meier first created the series) building parts for space ships to win the scientific victory has been the “thinking man’s victory”.
This always left us wondering, what happened to the people on those space ships? Wouldnt it be cool to play that game. Why has no-one created that game. IS NO ONE LISTENING?
Well it turns out in Space they can hear you scream. First they delivered Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri and now on the 24th of October 2014 Civilisation Beyond Earth is coming to keep PC gamers playing for just one more turn.
Civilisation Beyond Earth is another explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate game that sees the player take the role as human settlers on an alien planet. Featuring both a single player and a multiplayer mode it will be available to Mac and Linux users at a later stage.
