Take-Two and Rockstar Games say Lindsay Lohan’s lawsuit for allegedly misappropriating her image for Grand Theft Auto V was more of a bid for media attention than a legitimate complaint.

The Associated Press reports that filings from the companies called the case frivolous and that it was “filed for publicity purposes”. Take-Two and Rockstar are seeking a dismissal and for Lohan to pay all associated legal fees.

The actress’ suit filed in Julyclaims that the Lacey Jonas character, who appears in a mission where players must help her avoid paparazzi, was modeled after Lohan without her permission.

It claims Lohan’s image, voice, and even styles from her clothing line are depicted. The game also features another allegedly Lohan-inspired mission in its version of the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood, where Lohan once lived.

Take-Two says that her likeness has not been used, and that the Jonas character resembles her only insofar as they are both young, blonde women.

More than 34 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V have been shipped since the game released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013. It’s planned for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this autumn.
